About us

Family chiropractic care in Auckland, with support for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, children and rehabilitation.

From pregnancy and early parenthood to staying active later in life, we offer personalised chiropractic care, rehabilitation and movement guidance that grows with your family.

With clinics in Newmarket and on the North Shore, as well as home visits, we support pregnant women, new mothers, babies, children and active individuals through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, everyday movement and injury rehabilitation.

Our approach combines chiropractic care, postural assessment, rehabilitation Pilates and practical education to help patients understand their bodies and feel more confident in their daily activities.

We have a particular interest in pregnancy and postpartum care, pelvic biomechanics, breastfeeding-related posture, abdominal rehabilitation and family wellbeing.

Our story

Care has always been at the heart of what we do. In Dr. Jenny Jang's words:

Smile Chiropractic began with a simple desire: to help people who need support.

When I became a chiropractor, I wanted to do more than address physical discomfort. I wanted to understand the people who came to see me, listen to their concerns and help them through difficult moments in their lives.

Over time, I became particularly interested in pregnancy and postpartum care. Pregnancy, birth and recovery bring enormous physical changes, yet I saw how difficult it could be for mothers to find the support and guidance they needed. I continued learning so I could better support women through pregnancy and after birth.

Then I began to see another gap. Many mothers were struggling with breastfeeding, often unsure where to turn or unable to access the right support when they needed it most. They deserved more than fragmented advice or the expectation that they should work everything out on their own. So I continued my education in breastfeeding support and maternal care, with the aim of helping mothers understand their options and find appropriate support.

I also came to realise that I couldn't be everywhere, and I couldn't do everything on my own. I wanted partners to be better prepared to support the women they love, with practical skills, greater confidence and the knowledge to recognise when professional help is needed.

That is why we developed our partner workshops: to help families prepare together for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and life with a new baby.
